The terroir fully played its role in this vintage by making it possible to obtain Merlots (35  % of assembly, for 46  % Cabernet Sauvignon and 19  % cabernet franc) of very high quality. Immediately giving confidence by its hue, a superb red with reflections between pink and purple, the great wine reveals a generous and complex bouquet.  : ripe fruit, prune, notes of warm earth, violet. Soft on the attack, the palate then presents a very solid structure, built on crisp tannins in tight rows. A long, fresh and peppery finish leaves an impression of controlled power and great elegance.
