Lafite-Rothschild 2006 is very dark and opens with a discreet nose, with primary notes linked to the very expression of the grape varieties. The aromatic evolution is auspicious with fresh notes of particularly dark forest fruits.
 The palate of this Pauillac is quite powerful with a frank and precise attack (a characteristic of this vintage) giving way to well-built tannins from very ripe grapes. This Lafite-Rothschild 2006, which does not lack weight, reveals itself before the finish, balanced, quite slender and delicious.
